I have a plumbing emergency, what should I do?

If there is still water leaking, turn off the service valve to the appliance or fixture if possible, or go immediately to the main valve for your property. If you’re unable to locate the tap to turn off, then you could try turning on all the cold water taps inside and outside your residence to depressurise the pipework and minimise the leak.

Once that’s done, give our team a call, whatever the day or time is. We’ll be with you rapidly to resolve the problem.

While waiting, remove any important things close to the leak, and mop up any water or place a bucket to catch the drips. If you have turned the mains water off, also switch off the heating for the hot water as well.

Help, I don’t know where the main water shutoff valve is!
